Hey Jude Lyrics
Hey Jude Lyrics By The Beatles
Hey Jude, don’t make it bad
Hey Jude, don’t be afraid
And anytime you feel the pain, hey Jude, refrain
Hey Jude, don’t let me down
So let it out and let it in, hey Jude, begin
Hey Jude, don’t make it bad
Na na na, na-na na na
Na na na, na-na na na
Na na na, na-na na na
Take a sad song and make it better
Remember to let her into your heart
Then you can start to make it better
You were made to go out and get her
The minute you let her under your skin
Then you begin to make it better
Don’t carry the world upon your shoulders
For well you know that it’s a fool who plays it cool
By making his world a little colder
Na na na, na na, na na na na
You have found her, now go and get her
Remember to let her into your heart
Then you can start to make it better
You’re waiting for someone to perform with
And don’t you know that it’s just you? Hey Jude, you’ll do
The movement you need is on your shoulder
Na na na, na na, na na na na, yeah
Take a sad song and make it better
Remember to let her under your skin
Then you begin to make it better
Better, better, better, better, better, oh!
Na-na na na, hey Jude
Na na na, na-na na na
Na-na na na, hey Jude
Na-na na na, hey Jude
Na na na, na-na na na
Na-na na na, hey Jude
Na-na na na, hey Jude
Na na na, na-na na na
Na-na na na, hey Jude

Hey Jude History
Hey Jude was released in the summer of 1968, it’s by this time when the Beatles had conquered the world. In the U.S. it became the most popular Beatles song remaining at the #1 U.S chart for nine straight weeks, which is by far the longest U.S. single by the group. Hey Jude was also the longest Beatles single running over seven minutes. By that time the average single lasted around three and a half minutes. The song was written by Paul McCartney in dedication to John Lennon’s son, Julien. The title was originally Hey Jules but then they decided to change it to Hey Jude.
The song starts of with a nice mellow piano part followed by a solo from McCartney’s voice. As the verses progress other instruments come in. Halfway through the song changes into a long fade-out with repeated calls of Hey Jude.
